Shared Room Opening in CF Group House in Woodley Park- October 1- $740/month + utilities
My housemates and I are looking for someone to join our house in late September-early October. (We need a replacement for a lovely housemate who is getting married.)
We are seven Christian women in our twenties who are excited about living together. We live in a great rowhouse in Woodley Park (super close to the metro) and love having a lot of common space to be able to hang out and host dinners, events, neighbors, and friends (e.g., neighborhood potlucks, Taco Thursdays, annual hoedown, annual Easter brunch, small dinner parties). We rotate cooking dinner for one another Sun-Thurs (cook occasionally, eat home-cooked meals daily). We are generally committed to caring for and encouraging one another.
The house is large and has been kept up well; it's located one block from the Woodley Park/ Adams Morgan metro and multiple bus lines. It has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a beautiful 2nd-floor porch, 2 fireplaces, large washer/dryer, central AC, Jacuzzi bathtub, and hardwood floors throughout. We are on a beautiful, quiet, tree-lined street, within walking distance to the Zoo, Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, and Columbia Heights.
The Room: Large shared bedroom--about 250 square feet total. Though it is shared by two roommates, it has two pretty distinct sections (and even two doors); it offers good privacy with a room divider. Rent would be $740 or $790/month + utilities ($80-100/ month).
