LARGE BEDROOM + PRIVATE BATHROOM FOR CM IN SE - $870
Gentlemen - I'm looking for a solid Christian guy to rent the primary bedroom in an updated rowhome in Southeast.
The Location
The house is located on a quiet block in the otherwise vibrant neighborhood of Historic Anacostia. It’s a 4-minute walk to the Green Line (Anacostia metro station) and the Circulator (to Barracks Row). Anacostia metro station is one stop from Navy Yard (Nats park, DC United Audi Field, Harris Teeter, Philz Coffee, Blue Jacket, etc). The house is approximately a 10-minute drive from Capitol Hill. It’s also a short walk to local eateries (Busboys & Poets, Starbucks, Mama's Pizza, Turning Natural juice bar + more), cultural attractions (Anacostia Arts Center, Anacostia Playhouse, etc) and parks (Frederick Douglass National Historic Site, Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, etc).
The House
The house is a recently renovated, light-filled brick rowhome with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It features an awesome kitchen and plenty of common space. Off-street parking is available in the backyard for 2 cars.
The Room
The bedroom (18′ x 16′) is a man cave fit for a king. It features a huge closet and a sizable en-suite full bathroom.
The Roomies
The current roommates are Christian young professional guys in their 20s and 30s. All of them enjoy being active in the local church and are seeking to build a strong sense of community in the house.
