The room:
It’s a sunny master bedroom in a lovely 4-bedroom Capital Hill townhome. The house is an end house so there’s a lot of natural light that comes in. It includes a private bathroom. The room is on the second floor and faces the street with trees.
The house:
It’s shared with 4 other roommates. There’s a young couple that lives in the basement. The middle floor is a shared space. It has the large chef’s kitchen, dining area, and living room space. We each have our own kitchen shelf and pantry shelf for our own food.
There’s a fenced-in backyard that has garden beds along the fence. There’s a small fire pit that we use as well. Sadly, we can’t have pets here.

Roommates:
We are social people but we also respect where people are at and if they need time alone. We value creating a safe environment for people to grow. We occasionally have meals together and movie or game nights.

Area:
There is one parking spot in the back which we usually leave to the family that lives here. There’s always plenty of street parking on the street or down a block. The neighborhood is family-friendly and great for running and walking.

Ideal housemate:
Someone who’s nice. We have host a house church gathering on Tuesday nights which you’re welcome to join but not required. We are looking for a housemate that would be comfortable with that.
Rental terms:
The room will be available for rent August 1. There is a minimum lease of # months. The room rents for $1550/month not including utilities. The utilities are split two or three ways depending on how many housemates there are, and usually range from $50 to $100, depending on the time of year.
Prior to move in, you'll need to provide a one-month deposit of rent for your security deposit. If you're interested and would like to stop by to look at the room, send me a message.
