Two late-30s CFs looking for a 3rd roommate to join our house beginning April 1. The house is located in the H St Corridor/Trinidad neighborhood, has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 spectacular baths, offers a parking spot in the back and has a covered front porch, back deck, and lots of natural light. We are in easy walking distance of various bus routes (when Metro opens all the lines again - 90/92, B2, D4/D8, X1/X2/X8/X9), grocery stores (Whole Foods, Safeway, Aldi), coffee shops and restaurants on H St NE, Union Market, and are a nice bike ride/short drive away from the National Arboretum. 

The room and potential roommate: We are seeking a CF who sees home as a place for recharging, welcome, and friendship to rent the middle room, which is ~ 9x11. Rent is $947/month, plus utilities.

The house: The main level of the house is an open concept with living room space, dining area, a full kitchen, half bath, and back deck. The bedrooms are on the second level and your room shares a bathroom with one of the other housemates. Room comes with the option to purchase the furnishings from the previous roommate. The home has WiFi, dishwasher, gas stove and oven, central heat and air, and in-house washer/dryer.

A bit about us: We're fun (movie nights in the backyard w/a projector, impromptu dance parties, house breakfast); hospitable; active in our church; enjoy various hobbies that range from learning new languages, trying new recipes, gardening, and soccer; like to keep common areas clean; both have degrees in international related topics; spent time abroad; and been in DC over 6 years each. 

Keeping in mind the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage candid conversations as a house to maintain lines of communication as safety considerations ebb and flow. We are both vaccinated and boosted, and are looking for a housemate who is, as well.
