Seeking CM to join group home in NW DC ($973 + utilities) on or before April 1
Hello! My name is Sam and a few friends of mine (drawn from several churches around the city) have recently moved in together to a group home in Petworth. We are seeking a 5th guy to join us as we build Christian community and grow in our faith together. We are all in our mid-20s and enjoy various activities including running, hiking, cooking, having friends over, lawn games such as spikeball and cornhole, and playing music.
About the house: The house is situated on an awesome corner lot in a quiet part of the Petworth neighborhood of DC. While very residential, we're only about an 8 minute walk to the metro stop and grocery stores, plus about a 3 minute walk to a Bikeshare station. The house has a HUGE yard (seriously, it's massive) and we're hoping to turn it into a fun gathering space for the summer, including outdoor furniture. It's also got a very solid kitchen, TV area, working fireplace, and a half-wraparound patio outside, all of which we intend to use frequently. Utilities are estimated to come out to about $100 pp/per month, split evenly. About the room: The room that's open is fairly spacious (129 sq. ft.) with excellent natural lighting and a closet. You would share a bathroom with our housemate Jonathan, who has the room next door (it's a jack-and-jill bathroom setup). There is enough room for a queen bed and a desk.
