Seeking 1 CF roommate to join a beautiful 3bd and 2 1/2bath in a sunlit apartment on Capitol Hill to move in as early as December 1st to take over a one year lease ending in August 2022.
The large two floor apartment in a row house is in a very safe neighborhood near Lincoln park. It is a 5min walk to Eastern Market and is a 15-20min walk to the Senate or House buildings. Safeway and Trader Joes are both a 10 min walk from the apartment.
The apartment is two floors. The common areas come mostly furnished. The first floor includes the kitchen, living room, dinning, half bath and laundry area, along with many beautiful large windows allowing for natural light. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the second floor.
The open bedroom is the unfurnished master bedroom with its own full bath. It has 2 large closets and several windows for natural light. Rent is $1,200 with utilities running between $50-$100 monthly (the higher end typically only in the summer months). Security deposit is one months rent $1,200, paid to the current tenant. This room is available for a December 1st move in.
A little bit about the roommates: Both are young professionals in their late 20’s. One roommate works as a law fellow and the other roommate works for a nonprofit and is currently working from home. They both attend local DC churches.
Both roommates are fully vaccinated and following the most up to date CDC and city guidance.
