Our house in Brookland, DC, has an open room for $1050/month and one-third of each month’s utilities, starting on October 15th. The house is 5 blocks from the Brookland metro station and the Metropolitan Branch Trail, and the G8 bus stops on our block. We’re a welcoming and inclusive house.
About the Space: The house is a recently renovated 4 bed, 2 bath, 2,122 ft2 early 20th-century bungalow with a front porch, back deck, terrasse, and a bit of yard perfect for gardening, outside meals, our smoker & fire pit, and outdoor movies. The kitchen, 2 bathrooms, storage space, and living spaces are shared between three total housemates. There is an abundance of street parking, a washer & dryer, and a dishwasher.
The room has two separate sections (10' x 11'’ & 10' x 7.5'), a closet, and a private backdoor entrance.
About Us: Current members of our house include Jacob Crouse (30M) & Zander Willoughby (25M). Jacob’s the musician, activity coordinator, and motorcycle guru, and Zander’s the baker/fermenter, amateur cyclist, and coffee enthusiast. Both love to cook, watch movies & sports, and try new foods & beers. As a house, we enjoy sharing meals, game nights, movies, & even the occasional group bike ride or socially-distanced field trip.
