Lovely 2BR/1BA upper level apartment (in Trinidad, $1850/month)

Hi everyone! I'm posting for a friend, whose condo is available for rent. Here's more information from her:

Our updated (redone in 2016) 2BR/1BA upper level condo in Trinidad is available for rent in July.

Here's a Google Drive link for photos of the apartment. These are from when the unit was first staged for sale. The photos are from the lower unit, but the layout and features are identical (except for two things: 1) where the photos show the front door is actually a closet. The front door opens into the kitchen in our apartment. 2) The placement of the back door). The floor plan is from our unit.

Rent is $1850/mo which includes water. Tenant is responsible for utilities (electric and internet). We are looking for future tenant(s) to sign a 12-month lease.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets that shed, but are open to fish, or potentially hypoallergenic dogs (depending on the breed). Our HOA requires approval on pets, so let us know what pet you have.

It's a beautiful, homey space, renovated in early 2016 and still looks and feels brand-new. Real hardwood floors throughout, carpeted bedrooms, stainless steel appliances (dishwasher was replaced in 2018), open wood shelving, plenty of counter space for cooking and entertaining, built-in shelves in all closets (except living room closet), back and front door entry, shared parking space. There is a bonus window inside the living room closet; great for an indoor plant or you can take the door off like we did to let in more natural light!

The location is great: 10 minute walk to Miner Elementary, and just 4 blocks to H St with Maketto, Bullfrog Bagels, Imm Thai, and Atlas Theater. 1.7 miles to Union Station and close to multiple major bus lines (2 blocks to the D4, 4 blocks to the X2, X1, and streetcar). Easy biking or driving access to the Arboretum, which we've loved in all seasons! Easy access to 295 and the BW Parkway. It's so easy to get to the activity and fun of H St, yet incredibly quiet as soon as you cross Florida Ave into Trinidad.

A little about us: Don and I (Alayna) met in DC and lived in this condo from 2016-2019. We love Trinidad, we love the tranquil retreat and rest this condo gave us, and we hope to find a tenant who feels the same. We're currently living in Michigan and have successfully supported the current tenants remotely over the last 2 years. We plan to make regular trips to DC now that it's safe to travel, but are always just a phone call, email, or text away.
