Seeking CF for Cap Hill Rowhouse *Available August*
Two Christian gals looking for a third CF to fill an open room.
House:
3/2 rowhouse in Capitol Hill. The available room is on the main floor and shares a bathroom with one other person. The room is good sized - fits a queen bed, desk, and dresser - has wood floors, a closet, windows, and access to the back porch. Rent is $1220 + utilities (~$100/month).
It is a historic house, but was renovated in the last five years. We have a great landlord who lives in a separate unit upstairs. She is very responsive and helpful.
Neighborhood:
The house is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in between H St and Lincoln Park. It’s a short walk (10-15 mins) to Eastern Market, H St., and Union Station. There is also a Capitol Bike Share right in front of the house. There isn’t any off street parking, but it’s usually pretty easy to find street parking.
About Us:
We are both in our late-ish twenties, from NC and FL originally. We currently go to different churches but join one another for church activities when we can! We enjoy living life together, and try to have an encouraging and supportive home.
One of us is back to working in-person, and the other is teleworking. We like to have friends over but also are happy with quiet nights at home. We enjoy spending time outside - taking walks in Lincoln park or on the mall, and hiking on the weekends. Midweek you can sometimes find us still working by candlelight or binge watching the Chosen. When we’re feeling really wild, we drink red wine and watch New Girl.
We are both very clean and appreciate a tidy and welcoming home.
About You:
We’re looking for someone in their mid to late twenties who loves Jesus, is clean and considerate. No drugs, smoking, or overnight boyfriends. Pets are allowed with an additional fee. We don’t have any at the moment, but are open to dogs!
