$900 Room available July 1 in 4 Bedroom Arlington House (1mi from Ballston metro, seeking CM)
Situation: Two recent college grads (Penn State & Rice) have lived in this house for 1 year now and one more recent college grad (Southeastern) will be moving in at the start of the new lease. We've thought about switching it up and moving but the price and location are pretty hard to beat. We have one roommate who will be leaving the apartment so we have one room available beginning July 1st at the start of our new lease.
House: Located just a mile from Ballston quarter, with a bus stop across the street. We decided to live here because it's an easy commute no matter where you're working/studying in the DMV. There is a front & back porch and yard with grill and fire pit, large basement mainly for storage, and comfortable common areas on the first floor (kitchen, living room, dining room). There are 4 bedrooms, 3 on the second floor and 1 on the first. The second floor rooms share a full bath with a tub/shower while the first floor room has its own full bathroom. Utilities (including WiFi) are usually around $50-$60 / month.
Room Available: We currently have one room available. The room available is the first floor master with its own bathroom and private back entrance. There is plenty of closet space & natural lighting. The room is $900 and spacious compared to DC standards. You will be signed in for a year lease that begins July 1st 2021 and ends June 30th 2022. We deal directly with the owner of the house.
Neighborhood: The house is located in the Bluemont neighborhood on the corner of N. Kentucky St. and Wilson Blvd. right next to Bon Air Park and the W&OD trail. The street we live on is mostly young families with a few houses of college students. Very safe and surprisingly pretty.
Roommates: We are all young Christian guys who enjoy the outdoors. We work in construction management, software, and ministry. We're all pretty laid back and looking for a down to earth guy. We grill out or go do stuff together on occasion and enjoy hosting whether it be a poker night, bonfire, or Saturday of college football.
