1 BR for CM in Falls Church available now ($780/mo)

1 bedroom available to a male housemate available now for $780/month in a beautiful, large house in the City of Falls Church.

 

Bedroom is approx. 14 x 11 ft with double-wide closet and two windows.  Double-sink bathroom with shower stall (shared between two tenants in adjacent bedrooms).  Bedroom is unfurnished.  Laundry easy access down the hall.  Main floor is all common space and includes a spacious shared kitchen, dining room, and TV room/den. House has many bedrooms and a basement apartment; there are several other young men living in the house.

House is about half a mile from the West Falls Church Metro station (about a 12-minute walk). Giant, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s are nearby. The famous W&OD walk/bike trail is about 100 yards from the house, and downtown Falls Church is about a 15-minute walk away. Tyson’s Corner is about 7 minutes away by car. Easy access to Route 7, US 29, I-66, US 50 and I-495. Nearby bus routes make WMATA Metro access easy if walking is not an option. There are limited parking spots in the driveway, and street parking is readily available (city decal controlled).

Utility share is typically between $120 and $160 per month, split evenly according to the actual costs between the landlord and all tenants.  Utilities include water/sewer/electric/gas, high speed WiFi internet, basic cable TV, some house supplies, and a basic house cleaning service.  Central A/C and heat.


This house has a great group of Christian guys in their 20s and 30s, and the landlord would like to find someone who is willing to engage with others in the house as their paths cross. Everyone respects each others’ privacy but try to share and encourage each other in our walks with God. We also desire someone who is relatively clean and mindful of others.  Also looking for a longer-term tenant (at least one full year or more), but open to shorter-term tenants.  Please nothing less than 6 months.

 

Notes and disclosures:

(1) Freezer/Refrigerator space is limited and must be shared with other housemates.  There is room to store your food, but not a lot of space.

(2) Falls Church City requires all vehicles parked on the street to be registered, to prevent being towed.  It is Zone 2 residential parking.
