$970 Large Sunny Room On The Hill
Seeking one woman (mid-twenties) to join our home on the Hill. Rent for the bedroom is $970 a month plus utilities, which usually run about $85 a piece ($60 to $105). The room has a shared bathroom with one other roommate. We have a dishwasher and laundry in the home.
Room is available anytime after February 13th. Lease is month-to-month. Unfurnished. No pets. No smoking.
We are located near multiple bus lines (90, 92, X2, D6, D4). The location is phenomenal - 1 mile from the Capitol Building, a couple blocks off of H St, and 15 mins walks to Union Station and 20 mins to Eastern Market (two buses that take you directly to Eastern Market). Grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops are all near - including a corner store directly across the street. Street parking available.
The current roommate works in non-profit spaces with commitments to social justice. She is a friendly introvert following CDC guidelines regarding COVID. Shared spaces are kept clean. We try to be considerate of each other and foster communication and fair distribution of household chores and expenses.
