$900 Large Room Available in Capitol Hill near Union Station, H St NE, Senate/House/Capitol
Hi all,
We have a bedroom available later this month in our 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom rowhouse in Capitol Hill. The house is two blocks from Union Station, two blocks from the Senate staff buildings, and three blocks from a grocery store and the H Street NE Corridor.
The house is three floors, with basement storage and washer/dryer, living room, dining room, kitchen, fenced-in backyard, and two off-street parking spots that we all share. You would share a bathroom with one other roommate. We are responsible Christian guys in our twenties/thirties and looking for similar. (The fourth, and smallest, room is temporarily rented out but may be changing roommates in a few months.) One of us works for the federal government, one is in the Hill/campaign world, and one of us is in grad school and works in business. We each do our own things but get along well. We’re low key, responsible, drama free, and clean, and we want you to be the same.
The room available is large and fits a queen bed and plenty of additional furniture. The outgoing roommate is interesting in selling his furniture if you are looking, but that’s not a requirement.
Rent is $900/month plus utilities ($75-150/month on average), plus one month’s rent ($900) security deposit before you move in. Looking for someone to move in no later than February 1, though if it needs to be a little before or after then, we can discuss.
