Two Rooms Available in Alexandria in late December/ January
Hi! I'm Andrea, and I live in a beautiful townhouse on a on a tree-lined, walking neighborhood between Old Town Alexandria and The Village at Shirlington. My roommate and I are looking for two Christian women for two rooms that are available January 1 (although we have some flexibility if you'd like to move late December). We are looking for pleasant, responsible roommates to share the home with us in mutual respect.
The upstairs room is 13x13 and has a private bathroom for $732.50/month. The downstairs room is 16x17 and has a bathroom shared with one other roommate for $692.50/month. Utilities run approximately an additional $75-$85/month. A one year lease is preferred. A security deposit equal to one month’s room rent is required at signing.
Our home: We have a bedroom available in a large, 5 bedroom, 3 ½ bath, tri-level townhouse. Our shared common level has an open kitchen with a bay window; outdoor deck with gas grill; foyer; large, separate living and entertainment areas; and a guest bath–all on well-kept hardwood floors. Our home is also equipped with a full-sized washer and dryer, cable in each bedroom, and WiFi. We have street parking and a driveway we share by rotation.
We are centrally located one mile from Shirlington (Peet’s, Harris Teeter, restaurants, and shopping), one mile from Delray (cute walking street with little shops and great restaurants), 1/2 mile from a shopping center (Starbucks, The Fresh Market, Safeway, and many restaurants), and 2 miles from Old Town. Right off 395, we are only an 8-minute drive from the Mall and are a couple of blocks from multiple Metro/DASH bus stops with non-stop, HOV lane routes to the Pentagon Metro station.
Unfortunately, no pets, and no smoking.
