One of two roommates is moving out, and their room is available in a two-story row house. The bottom floor is one large open common space that includes the living area, dining area, and kitchen. Doors lead to the back yard/patio area with a fire pit. The bottom floor is furnished with 2 sofas, a small dining table and chairs, and lots of built in shelves for storage. If you have a green thumb, there’s lots of space in the back area to make a garden.
The second floor has the two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one inside the master bedroom, the other yours), the office/studio room, and the washer/dryer closet.
Included with the bedroom:
an adjacent room currently used as an office and art studio space. It has a loft for storage. It has been used as a bedroom, art studio, an office, it’s versatile.
A private bathroom (not connected to the bedroom)
THE AREA: The house is one block from a just-renovated Safeway, 3 blocks from Lincoln Park, 4 blocks from the Potomac metro station and a short walk from Eastern Market and Barrack’s Row (great restaurants!).
PETS: The house is cat-friendly. Its resident cat is leaving with her owner.
ROOMMATE: Your roommate is the chillest of the chill. He’s a young professional who works on the Hill.
