Cozy, spacious Petworth home looking for a housemate
Nestled in the cozy neighborhood of Petworth, our home is perched atop a hill on Kansas Ave, just moments away from the bustle of Georgia Ave. The room available is a spacious basement room with an attached living area and private bathroom. You’ll have easy access to laundry and a second kitchenette and a door that leads to an outdoor living space and back gate.. There’s plenty of room for parking on our street.
A little bit about us – we are three women in our late 20s/early30s. Whether it’s an afternoon hike, outdoor movie on our porch projector, sitting around our new fire pit, or a shared meal together, we keep discovering ways to make the most of quarantine. The president of our home is a 19 pound dog named Ford. Don’t suggest home improvement projects around Katie, because you’re sure to have a willing accomplice. Jo’s chai will knock your socks off and then put them back on because it’s that cozy. Margeaux graces our halls with beautiful music on the piano that you can’t help but tap your toes to.
We’re looking for someone who is respectful and kind and values community. We would love to have some who is looking for a space that can provide retreat in addition to a supportive community. We are also looking for someone who does their part to keep the space clean and tidy.
Rent is $935/month and utilities are shared amongst the housemates.
