Beautiful Capitol Hill Room Available - Christian Lady Roommate NEEDED!
This three plus story home boasts an enormous living room, kitchen, formal dining room, and my absolute favorite --a full library on the second floor. Not to mention a large front AND backyard (like a real backyard/patio) plenty of space for gardening, grilling and porch sitting.
Your room would be tucked away in the back of the house making for a fairly quiet and private living quarters. It pretty spacious in itself with a decently sized closet and two sets up built-in shelves. Dresser comes with the room.
The housemates --four lovely ladies, all very devoted to their work (they work in various government and think tank type roles) but also love to spend time cooking, baking, being outdoors, with friends and involved in their respective faith communities.
Safe neighborhood - blocks from the capitol. Plenty of residential street parking (zone 6). The house is wonderful! Three stories, very high ceilings in the downstairs living areas. It's blocks from the Capitol Building, 12 min. from Capitol South, 15 min from Union Station (walking). It's not newly renovated (i.e. older windows and some designs/decor), but the landlords have replaced important things (appliances, AC system, hot water heaters) and maintained it in good condition.
Rent is $1059.45, utilities ~ $100/month. No pets. No smoking.
