CF for a lovely Petworth (DC) home - August or September 1st - $866
We are looking for a third housemate to fill our home starting anytime in August or on September 1st.
The house is nestled in a friendly neighborhood in Petworth and has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a dreamy, large kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, and two (!!!) porches to enjoy your evening cocktail on. For those with a car, there is an abundance of street parking.
Now before you get nervous that Petworth is the boonies of DC, let us tell you, we thought the same thing before we moved here. And then we fell in love with the friendly neighborhood, delicious local restaurants, and access to green space. We’re a short walk from Upshur Street, which is home to everything from Timber Pizza (best pizza in the city - don’t fight us) to Loyalty Books (one the best local bookshops around). Commuting downtown is easy thanks to the 62, 63, 70, and 79 bus lines and the Georgia/Petworth metro (Green/Yellow).
Our house culture is chill but intentional and we’ve become solid friends over the last few years of living together. You’ll often find us perfecting our margarita recipe and watching 90s rom-coms.
