CF: One private bedroom; shared bathroom - $825/month on Hill

Two young professional women are seeking one female in her mid to late twenties to join our home on the Hill. Rent for the bedroom is $825 a month plus utilities, which usually run about $85 a piece. The bathroom would be shared with one other roommate. We have a dishwasher and laundry in the home. Room can be available as soon as August 15th (prorated based on move in date; lease beginning Sept. 1st). We are located near multiple bus lines (90, 92, X2, D6, D4). The location is phenomenal - a couple blocks off of H St, 15 mins walks to Union Station and 20 mins to Eastern Market (two buses that take you directly to Eastern Market). The inside of the home is usually very well lit with two large windows in the living room (pictures do not do it justice!). We have all the furniture for the common areas, so please let us know if you will be bringing anything for those spaces. The roommate leaving also has some furniture for sale; please inquire in your email if you are interested.

The two current roommates are both young professionals working in social justice spaces. One is an introvert/homebody and the other an extrovert/nomad (in her pre-pandemic life!). We are good friends and are ideally looking for someone to complete our little home. Re: COVID, one roommate is a higher risk for respiratory illness, so we have been mindful in caring for each other during this time. Generally, we like to keep common spaces clean. We try to be considerate of each other and foster communication and fair distribution of household chores and expenses.
