Room available Aug 1st (date flexible) in Hillcrest SE DC. Room includes a bed, dresser, shelving unit, night stand, and closet. Furnishings may be removed if you'd prefer. The full bath is shared with the one other tenant (myself), a young professional CF. The apartment is in the basement of the landlord's house and includes a large living area, small storage space, and kitchen. Laundry is included in the house storage area.
The current roommate has a dog and likes to play board games, read, run or bike, and watch tv. Prospective roommates should be clean and friendly. No smoking. No new pets, there is a dog already living in the apartment (she's totally in love with people and always up for a belly rub).
Rent is $820/month, including all utilities and internet. Parking is available in a driveway and on the nearby streets (where parking is unzoned). The apartment is in a quiet, safe residential area.
