Seeking Roommate for Basement Room in SW DC Townhouse
Seeking a third roommate to move into a recently renovated basement bedroom of a 3-story townhouse in Southwest DC by late March/ early April. The room is 13’x13’ with plenty of closet space, its own bathroom, and access to a separate entrance. We share the main floor, which has an open concept kitchen, dining room, and den leading to the back porch and patio. The house also contains an in-unit washer and dryer. The common spaces of the house are fully furnished. See attached two pictures of the main floor. Zone 6 Parking.
The house is on a quiet street 3 blocks from several metro stations (blue, orange, silver, yellow, and green lines), a 5 minute walk to the Wharf, a 20 minute walk to Nats Stadium and Audi Field, and close proximity to the Mall, nearby fields, and tennis and basketball courts.
Rent is $1150/month plus utilities and is month to month, however we prefer a 12 month commitment.
We are two DC professional guys in our 20s. Favorite house activities include bonfires, grilling, hosting friends, and celebrating the 4th of July with a low country boil. We are looking for a roommate who is respectful, keeps the common space clean, and is looking for a good community.
