Sunny Shared Bedroom in Columbia Heights Row Home
Hello! We have a large shared room open in a Columbia Heights ladies group house, starting February 1 (with some potential flexibility between then and March 1). Although the room is shared, there is a floor-to-ceiling closet structure which splits the room in two so it does not really feel like a shared room. It has lots of natural light, brick walls, hardwood floors, and is fairly sizable.
Our historic DC row house is located a block from the Columbia Heights Metro (Yellow/Green lines), and is also near three Capital Bikeshare stops, and several bus lines (including the 14th St. Circulator, H8, H4, H2, 54, and 52). It is less than a 20-minute walk to the 14th and U Street area. Street parking is available with a permit.
Monthly rent is $897 + utilities (~$80). The bedroom is on the second floor, and the bathroom down the hall is shared with two other people. The kitchen, living room, and dining room are furnished already and if needed, the bed and mattress is available. There is a washer/dryer in the kitchen and a great deck in the back.
Your housemates would be four Christian young professionals (mid-20s to mid-30s) who enjoy each other, hospitality, laughter, and tidiness. I’ve personally found it to be a welcoming space that is great for inviting people over for drinks, dinner, or game nights.
