Lovely room in 4-person Bloomingdale home

edited September 2019 in Housing

We have an opening in our Bloomingdale home starting October 1st!

The House: Big 3-story rowhouse with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, large guest/storage/laundry room, a renovated kitchen (brand new dishwasher and one-year-old gas stove/oven), screened-in back porch, friendly neighbors with cute dogs, and a beautiful private park right in our backyard. Our landlord is incredibly responsive and a great person to work with. We split the cost of a monthly cleaning service and an annual Costco membership for our shared household items.

The Room: The available bedroom is by far the biggest room in the house. It has hardwood floors, a closet, and comfortably fits queen bed, desk, dresser, bookshelves, plus any and all other furniture you could want. There's a large bay window too. The room is 15.5’ by 11’ plus the bay window for a total of 196 sq. feet.

The People: You'd be sharing the house with 3 women, aged late 20s - early 30s. We've had mixed gender house in the past, so male or female roommates welcome. The house is big enough for us to spend time together in common spaces, but we all recognize the value of alone time and private space. We are hospitable (our Christmas/Hannukah parties are legendary) and love the occasional roomie date (usually trying a new neighborhood restaurant, watching Jeopardy, or competing at Bananagrams).

The Other Info:
Rent: $1150/month + utilities (good deal for the neighborhood, we promise)
Preferred Move In: October 1
Parking Spot: We also have a private parking space available for $100/month if you're interested. Street Parking is zone 5.
Location: Bloomingdale (a charming residential neighborhood with colorful houses and lots of trees). Closest Metros are NoMa (Red), or Shaw (Green/Yellow), both ~20 minute walks away. There are also plenty of bus lines within a few blocks.

Sadly, no pets allowed :(
