We’re 3 Christian females looking for a 4th to join us in our lovely, 4-bedroom townhouse. Located in Alexandria, Virginia minutes from 495, 95, and 395 and a short drive or bus ride from Van Dorn and Springfield metro stations with plenty of neighborhood parking. We are in zip code 22310. Our home is located near restaurants, movie theaters, shops and grocery stores such as Harris Teeter, Trader Joe’s, Wegman’s and Giant. If you’re familiar with Kingstowne it’s 5 minutes north of this newly developed area. It’s a very safe and friendly neighborhood.
The available bedroom is in a walk-out basement, with lots of light, on the lower level with a door at the top of the stairs for privacy. The bedroom is unfurnished. It is approximately 10’x11’ fits a queen bed, vanity, and smaller dresser and has hardwood floors. It is a separate bedroom within the basement. Rent also includes a private basement living room as well with a fireplace, wet bar, mini wine fridge and mini refrigerator. It also has a small walk-in closet under the stairs and private, recently REMODELED full bath. The living space is partially furnished with a couch, trunk full of board games, blanket stand and TV above the fireplace.
There are hardwood floors throughout the main level of the house. The kitchen has granite countertops, a breakfast bar that opens into the dining room, and a living room with amazing sunlight. It opens onto a balcony and deck for entertaining. The backyard faces trees and a creek, which is amazingly peaceful! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fully furnished. The house has a ton of upgrades!
About us, we’re all fun, laid back, young working professionals. Each of us is very active in our churches. We enjoy catching up from time to time and consider ourselves friends. We are all very considerate of each other’s needs and keep the house tidy. We enjoy having friends and family over to host and have cookouts. It’s important to us that our next housemate enjoys the same community as it’s not just a house, but our home.
The lease terms are flexible, and the room is ready for move in with 1-month notice (negotiable). Rent is $975 plus about $100 a month in utilities shared by the number of roommates residing in the house.
