1 Bedroom for CM in Southeast - $730

Gentlemen – I’m looking for a solid Christian guy to rent a medium-sized bedroom in a newly renovated rowhome in Southeast.

The Location

The house is located on a quiet block in the otherwise vibrant neighborhood of Historic Anacostia. It’s a 4-minute walk to the Green Line (Anacostia metro station) and the Circulator (to Barracks Row). Anacostia metro station is one stop from Navy Yard (Nats park, DC United Audi Field, Harris Teeter, Blue Jacket, etc). The house is approximately a 10 minute drive from Capitol Hill.

It’s also a short walk to local eateries (Busboys & Poets, Turning Natural juice bar, Art-drenaline Cafe + more), cultural attractions (Anacostia Arts Center, Anacostia Playhouse, etc) and parks (Frederick Douglass National Historic Site, Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, etc).

The House

The house is a newly renovated, light-filled brick rowhome with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It features an awesome kitchen and plenty of common space. Off-street parking is available in the backyard for 2 cars.

The Room

The bedroom (10′ x 16′) is bright and airy with a large closet and offers enough room for a desk, a dresser, and a queen size bed. The bathroom upstairs is shared with one other roommate.

The Roomies

The current roommates are Christian young professional guys in their late-20s/early 30s. Two of them are consultants and another one is a student at Georgetown University. All of them enjoy being active in the local church and are seeking to build a strong sense of community in the house.

The Details

Rent is $730 + share of utilities. The lease term is 1 year and the move-in date is September 1st. Off-street parking is also available for $50/month if desired.
