Room in Capitol Hill row house coming available August 1st!

Hello!

We have one bedroom coming available in out wonderful 3 Bed, 1.5 Bath row house in the NE section of Capitol Hill. We are looking for someone to take over a lease from Aug 1st, 2019 - April 31st, 2020 (with the option to resign in May 2020). The rent would be $1250 per month, plus utilities (~$70 per month).

A little about our home:
- Roommates would be two Christian females in their mid-twenties, working in the DC area
- The has wonderful, old features (include 2 working fireplaces, wooden floors and high ceilings), but newly renovated - includes washer, dryer and dishwasher
- The house is right by Stanton Park, 5-10 minute walk to Union Station (Red Line) and H St, and 15 minute walk to Eastern Market. It's a beautiful, quiet, and convenient neighborhood to live in (I have been in the house for almost 3 years!). Plenty of grocery stores (2 Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Giant), restaurants and shops are in walking distance.
- The room is the largest in the house, with big windows looking out to a canopy of trees (feels like you're in a tree house).
- We are looking for someone who is looking for community at home, not just a room! As a house we love to chill out together, host dinners and occasional parties, and explore DC, and would love to find someone looking to join in that
- No pets are allowed per our lease unfortunately :(
- Rent is as specified above, and one month's security deposit and rent are due on move in.

Please pass along or reply with a paragraph introducing yourself and any questions to both elishakhande@gmail.com and allieboyd4101@gmail.com for details. We’re looking for immediate applicants, but the move-in date is after July 24th.

Thanks!
