Rooms Available in Brookland Group House of CMs

We have a few rooms that will soon be available for rent in our recently-renovated (2013) 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath group house in Brookland. We are a group of Christian guys in our late twenties and thirties who enjoy classy living, late-night intellectual conversations over beer and whiskey, and watching USMNT soccer while pretending we aren’t the mature professionals we are. We are looking for someone to join our fold--in existence since 2008--who values community living, is neat, and enjoys hosting the occasional cookout or holiday party.

About the Rooms:

• Master Bedroom:  The master bedroom upstairs is approximately 11.5’ x 13’ and includes its own full bathroom with a 3 x 3 closet.  Rent for the master bedroom is $920 per month.
• Hallway Bedroom:  The hallway bedroom upstairs is approximately 10’ x 10’ with a 2’ x 4’ closet.   This bedroom shares a bathroom with a third bedroom upstairs. Rent for the hallway bedroom is $750 per month.

Utilities typically run about $150 per person per month including central HVAC, gas, water/sewer, electric, high-speed cable/internet, and some yard care.  We also share groceries, which amount to an average of $150 per person per month.

We commit to spending one regularly-scheduled evening per week together to share a meal and catch up with each other.  We also divide house chores on a weekly basis.  The house is almost exactly one mile from the nearest Metro station, with a bikeshare station and bus stops on our block that run to and from their corresponding stations at regular intervals.

I wanted to let you know that I am very interested in the room. I am looking to move in at the end of June/early July and I am curious if you would have a vacant at that time.

A little about me: I’m a 29 year old, Christian male who has been living in DC for the past 4.5 years. I too enjoy classy living, particularly fine dining, as I have been sober for the past 1.5 years. I enjoy outdoor activities, reading, and cooking. I’m pretty cool in a lot of ways and I look forward to meeting all of you.

Hi Guys, 

I would be interested in either room but particularly the master bedroom if it’s still available. 

A little about me. I’m moving here from Dallas, TX to take a job in the production department at NCC starting at the beginning of June. So a June 1st move in date would work great for me if that would be available. I’m a native Texan and I enjoy soccer (I’m an Everton fan), history, and audio mixing. 

I’m going to be in Washington starting tomorrow morning through Friday evening to try to sort out a living situation.
