Single room sublet available for CM in Rosslyn (Arlington) (starting in May or June)
We have a single room opening in the River Place complex in Arlington, Virginia. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the Rosslyn metro station (Orange, Blue, Silver lines) for easy commuting into DC or Virginia. We enjoy an incredible view of the city--the apartment balcony overlooks the Potomac, the Lincoln memorial, the Washington monument, and the Capitol.
Dates: you can move in anytime between mid-May and early June (you’d pay rent from June onward). The contract runs through August. You'll complete a sublet form and receive keys, access to the building's facilities, etc.
Cost: Rent is $900/month. This includes:
- All Utilities (water, electric, air conditioning/heating, etc.)
- Gym membership (located on the ground floor of the building). There are free classes, too, for those interested in weight training and other things
- Outdoor pool access (both swimming pool and hot tub)
- Apartment WiFi
- Dishwasher, dishes/kitchen stuff (sorry, you’ll have to cook your own food!)
About the roommates: there are two roommates in their mid- to late-twenties working as professionals. The roommates are conservative, but we're open to everyone as long as the environment remains respectful. We sometimes hang out together, but we're involved in our churches and often busy with work or other things. The apartment is a pretty relaxing environment and we’d like to maintain that balance.
Other stuff:
- If you're interested, you can get garage parking on-site for your car at an additional cost. You'll have easy access to the Metro and bike shares, though, and shops such as grocery stores are all within walking distance.
- The building doesn't allow pets.
- U.S. citizens preferred.
