Seeking CF for May 1 in Capitol Hill—$900/mo
We are looking for a down-to-earth lady to join our cozy “Hill East” 3 bedroom/1.5 bathroom home in May!
The House:
The sweetest 'lil blue box you'll ever see, only a ten minute walk from the Blue/Orange/Silver Metro line! The closest metro stop is Potomac Ave (about a ten minute walk) with Eastern Market just a 15–20 minute walk away. Hardwood floors throughout, central AC, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and a gas stove. We love our cozy home in this great location!
The Room:
Rent is $900 plus utilities, which end up being around or under $100 per person for water, electric, gas, and internet. The room is unfurnished but (for size comparison) currently holds a double bed, dresser with mirror, bookshelf and end table, though a twin bed would give you more room to move around. If you have a car, there is ample street parking in the neighborhood, but you will need to get a zone 6 parking permit. (One of the current roommates pays for the spot behind our house.)
Us:
Sarah is a DMV native and graphic designer who attends Passion City Church DC. She can tell you where to get the best doughnut, burger, and cup of coffee in almost any city in America, and loves a good hike. Meredith attends Grace Capital City, is currently completing her masters degree in Holocaust studies, and is originally from upstate New York. She is probably getting a cat and definitely loves Jane Eyre more than you do.
We are fun-loving introvert-extroverts who enjoy both chill evenings at home—catching up, cooking, or co-working on our laptops—as well as socializing around town and hosting friends at home.
