A beautiful 1930s home in Hill East/Kingman Park available immediately. Three and a half bedrooms and two full baths; living room, dining room, sunroom, kitchen on the main level. Laundry facilities onsite and street parking available. Spacious backyard with covered patio off the rear basement entrance. Lots of natural light. All carpet has been recently cleaned and sanitized. Plenty of room for living, resting, and entertaining!
About the room:
A private bedroom and bathroom on the basement level.
Shared living, dining, and kitchen areas
There are two closets in the room, plus additional storage space on the same level.
Rent is $1000/month + utilities.

About the roommates:
The two bedrooms upstairs will be occupied by mid-twenties 2 CFs who have been housemates for almost 2.5 years. One is a project manager at a technology company and the other is professional actor. Both love to host friends for game nights, Bible study, and dinner parties. We both tend to be more quiet homebodies who love reading and baking but never pass up the option for some good conversation over dinner. We both love a good night out at the theater and deep discussions over tea. We both host out of town visitors fairly frequently as we love showing hospitality and making our home a place of rest and welcome.
About the neighborhood:
A quiet residential street just minutes from Lincoln Park and H St., .5 miles from Stadium-Armory metro, and a little over a mile from Eastern Market. Current roommates are new to the house themselves, but are already getting to know the neighbors!
