Bedroom(s) available in Navy Yard rowhouse, off-street parking

We have one bedroom opening up in our rowhouse in mid-December, and another potentially available immediately. The house is updated and comfortable, a great spot to relax after work. There is a backyard with some garden space, a big second-story deck with a view of Nats stadium fireworks, 2 full bathrooms, a parking pad out back, a five burner gas stove, and more.

Our location is hard to beat: 3 blocks to Harris Teeter, 4 blocks to Yards Park, 4 blocks to Bluejacket Brewery, CVS, starbucks, Philz coffee, and so much more just a few minutes' walk from our front door. We're also only about 10 - 15 minutes from Eastern Market and Barrack's Row and all the amenities there. We're about 4 blocks from the green line metro stop at Navy Yard and a 10 -15 minute walk to either Eastern Market or Capitol South if you want the blue/orange/silver line(s).

Rent for upstairs bedroom is 1150+utilities (which haven't been too bad so far), and the basement room is 1075 + utilities (it has it's own bathroom and big closet but no windows). The location alone is worth the rent at this place, but it's also just a really nice house.

Email me at wiersma2@gmail.com to set up a showing and meet the potential roommate. Move-in dates are flexible, but we would like to have someone in by January in the upstairs bedroom.

Shared (with one woman) upstairs bathroom

Living area and kitchen - this is before we moved in, hence the lack of furniture.

Awesome 2nd story deck - great for yoga or beer with the roommates on a nice fall evening.
