1 Master Bedroom w/ private BR $1150 + Free garage parking space, July 7th in Friendship Heights

We are currently looking for a female young-professional to fill the master bedroom in our 4-bedroom apartment in The Willoughby of Chevy Chase. The room will be available July 7th with a lease ending in July 2017 with the option to renew for the following year. (possible late move-in between July to late August can be arranged if needed since current tenant is flexible).

Our apartment is just a 5 minute walk to the Friendship Heights metro station (red line) as well as several shops and restaurants including Whole Foods, Giant, Chipotle and Panera. National zoo/ Dupont circle is a 10min ride way. There is a bus hub at metro station which provides easy access to Georgetown, American University, Bethesda, NIH/Medical Center, Rockville etc.

About us:

We are girls in our mid-twenties looking for another young professional roommate to fill the master bedroom. We are a make up of a nurse, a Quality Control Assistant, and grant specalist. We all take our work seriously, but also enjoy entertaining, going out in DC, biking, hiking, outdoor activities, traveling, video games, instrument playing (we will practice harp/clarinet at reasonable hours of the day), board games, and cooking. We have friends over for dinners and game nights, but we are not a party house. We each have our own activities but we also like to spend time together and are looking forward to filling the apartment with someone who is similarly easygoing, clean, respectful, and open to hanging out.

About the place:

The available room is the master suite ($1150/month). This room is huge (12′ x 19’4″) and has its own private bathroom and HUGE walk-in closet. It’s essentially a studio. In addition, it includes a parking space in a garage that is under the building, a great deal and hard to find in DC!

The apartment also includes a large living room, balcony and nice kitchen with a breakfast nook. Beyond having spacious common areas, one of the best parts about the apartment are the large windows that give tons of natural light throughout the apartment.

All utilities are included except for cable/internet (~$30). The building has a gym, rooftop pool, garage parking, onsite dry cleaning and laundry facilities, convenience store, and 24 hr concierge with controlled access.

The apartment building has a no pets/no smoking policy.

-Security deposit is one month’s rent. (Will have to pay first month, last month, and security deposit rent upfront- aka first check would be x3 month rent).
