Personal Assistant (Design and Arts Related)

Small business owner seeks personal assistant for the summer to help her complete both personal and design related tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Running personal errands (a car would be helpful but is not required)

  • Sending documents and photos to be printed

  • Keeping production supplies stocked and ordering replacement parts

  • Writing listings for film production assistants and talent, posting, and reviewing resumes

  • Quickly researching information and providing short summaries with sources

Skills Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher

  • Maturity and the ability to complete tasks unsupervised

  • Adequate written and oral communication skills for writing postings

  • Experience in art, design, and or film preferred

  • Must have an easygoing and calm personality

The pay is $15/hour. The hours would be for one or two evenings per week. Seven hours a week for the first month then dropping off to about four hours per week after that.

Located in Hyattsville, MD near the green line metro
