The CCCU’s primary policy portfolio consists of issues of religious liberty and institutional autonomy; higher education and student aid policy; tax policy affecting higher education and the non-profit sector generally. The CCCU also supports other policy positions that have broad support within the Christian or higher education communities. Ideally candidates will have familiarity with some of these issues, but all applicants must have a desire and willingness to learn about these and other issues that could develop.  Candidates are advised to review the CCCU’s website to learn more about the CCCU’s public policy positions. Candidates who reach the interview stage will be expected to have a great deal of familiarity with the positions of the CCCU during the interview and be able to articulate a cogent rationale for the positions.
