Room available for female in Cute Downtown Bethesda House - $990
A room is available in our 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house in Chevy Chase, just a 6 minute walk to Bethesda Row/Downtown Bethesda and a 10-12 minute walk to the Bethesda Metro. Other walkable locations include a Capital Bike Share at the top of the street, Safeway, Trader Joe's, CVS, Target, Giant, the Capital Crescent Trail (takes you to the Georgetown Waterfront by bike in 35 minutes), Chopt, Cava, PureBarre, SoulCycle, and the list goes on.
The departing tenant has rented this room for 3 years and it is truly a steal for the convenient location and for how amazing the house is. The house is furnished but the room is not. Utilities are not included in the rent price and generally run about $70 per month (inclusive of internet, heat, electric, and water). A street parking permit can be purchased for $20 per year, and street parking directly in front of the house is ample.
Two women will be staying behind in the house, both are late-20s, early 30s professionals who enjoy having their own social lives but are also down to watch TV, order Thai food, and hang out (in or out of the house). Ideally, you would have a similar 9-5 schedule, but this is not a deal-breaker.
Other highlights of the house include a recently-renovated kitchen, a sunroom, and garage for storage. A washer/dryer is located in the basement of the house (there is a basement apartment that also shares the laundry).
