Tutor Underserved Students in DC - Volunteer
Whether you're a creative writer, a mathematician, a confidant, or an encourager, you have a role to play in the life of a student. Join Little Lights as we seek to empower kids and families living in poverty in Southeast DC by sharing the hope of Christ through compassionate action, caring relationships, and racial reconciliation.
Invest in your local community through becoming a reading or math tutor to a student who would otherwise go underserved!
Time commitment: 2 hrs/wk for 1 semester
Start date: January 2017
Requirements: The willingness to connect with your inner child
