Seeking CF for Arboretum Home - Available March 1st

Three Christian women in their mid 20’s and early 30’s are looking for a CF housemate to rent a room in a single family home within a 2 minute walk from the R street entrance of Arboretum in NE DC. The home is a 5 minute drive to H St and Aldi, while Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s are a quick 10 minutes away. The home is also near great restaurants, breweries, and distilleries in Ivy City.  The stand-alone house was recently renovated with a modern kitchen, and the spacious front porch is complete with a swing.

The room will be available starting Friday, March 1st.

Security Deposit (one-time payment): $800

Monthly Rent: $800

Monthly Utilities [Gas, Electricity, Water, Internet, Security system]: Flat fee of $100 in addition to the monthly rent

It is a four bedroom house with 3 full bathrooms. The bedroom for rent is the largest one upstairs with two windows. The new housemate will share a full bathroom and walk-in closet with an existing roommate who lives in the other bedroom upstairs. Common areas include a living room, kitchen, walk-in pantry, dining room, small sitting room, tv room, backyard space, and laundry room with a washer and dryer.

The room has the option to come furnished with queen bed, dresser, nightstand.

We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, is easy going, and clean. Must also be okay sharing common areas with a ragdoll kitten (belonging to one of the roommates).  The house enjoys quiet relaxing evenings and sometimes venturing out for roomie activities.

If you are interested, please email us: house.at.the.arboretum@gmail.com

In the message, please provide a brief intro and description of what you are looking for in a house and roommates.  The three existing housemates (2 of whom are the landlords) will follow up with applicants, which may include an invitation to interview at the home.
