CF needed for cute row house near H Street
Our previous roommate recently moved overseas for work, so we are looking for someone to take her place in our cute house! It’s a charming, light-filled room located on a quiet street in northeast DC, but just blocks away from the vibrant energy of H street. There are plenty of easy and convenient bus lines nearby, or we’re about 20 minutes walk (10 minute bike ride) to Union Station or Eastern Market metro stations. There are also three convenient Capital Bikeshare stations nearby.
We are two creative and cultured sisters and working professionals from the midwest in our mid to late-twenties. While we enjoy hanging out together, we are also connected in plenty of other diverse circles around the city. We are both active in our churches, and one of us leads a weekly small group at our house. Our ideal roommate is friendly, clean, dependable, responsible, and open to living in community.
Move-in date is negotiable, but the monthly rate is $800 plus approximately $100 for utilities and internet. Roommate has the option of moving into an already beautifully furnished bedroom (pictures available upon request). The common areas in our house are also furnished, including a kitchen with plenty of shared dishes and cookware. We share 1.5 bathrooms, and there’s a washer and dryer in unit, which is a huge plus!
It’s a great place to live at a truly unbeatable price for the area. This could be an especially perfect place for newbies to the city!
