Beautiful and Quiet 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom apartment (657 square feet) in Vibrant Columbia Heights Neighborhood available October 1. Rent is $2000, plus utilities (water is included). A security deposit is required equal to one-month's rent. No pets, drugs, or indoor smoking. Open House: Wednesday, August 15 6-8pm and Sunday, August 26 1-3pm.

The unit is on the first floor of a small garden style apartment building. The first bedroom easily fits a queen bed, dresser, and bookcase and features two custom closets with plenty of space for clothes and shoes. The second bedroom, which fits a twin bed, would make an ideal office, nursery or small guest room. The kitchen was completely renovated less than five years ago with stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry to maximize storage and cooking space.The kitchen opens to the living room. Laundry is in-unit. Unit has central a/c and heat so utility bills are reasonable. Street parking is always available, although anything you need is within walking distance including shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. Unit is a 7-minute walk from the Columbia Heights metro station on the yellow and green lines and close to the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. The unit is in between 14th and 16th Streets with bus stops aplenty and Capital Bikeshare terminals nearby. 

Columbia Heights is a vibrant and active neighborhood in Northwest D.C., featuring shopping and restaurants at the DC USA shopping center, including Target. The condo is a short walk to restaurant row on 11th Street, with El Chucho, Maple, The Coupe, and more. The condo is also just a stone's throw to Rock Creek Park/Piney Branch Park trails/picnic areas and the National Zoo. The neighborhood is conveniently and centrally located within walking distance to Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Cleveland Park, U Street, and the 14th Street corridor restaurants and boutiques. Also just one metro stop from Petworth and four stops from Gallery Place/Chinatown.
