CF looking to rent a basement suite or in-law apartment

Hello, 

I'm looking for housing beginning in August (but can possibly be a bit flexible on timing) for myself and my adult Cocker Spaniel. I’m a Ph.D. student in my late 20s.

I’m interested in renting a basement suite or an in-law apartment. A fenced-in backyard would be a bonus (but not required). I'm fairly flexible on location.
