English Basement near Capitol Heights Metro- $900
The housemates: Fun loving married couple in our early 30s. We have lived in DC for the past three years, work in government, love to run, hike, watch sports and visit new places in DC. We also lead a weekly small group on Thursday evenings.
The home: Three level newly renovated home in SE DC off of East Capitol Street on a quiet street with lots of nice neighbors. It is approximately 6 blocks (inward, west) from the Capitol Heights Metro and 8 blocks (outward, east) of the Benning Rd. Metro. We metro to work at times but we recommend a car for the area.
Your space: A spacious basement with your own bedroom, bathroom, living space and a private rear entrance. The basement also has a kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, microwave, induction countertop oven and cooktop plates. The unit will not be furnished and we will not be able to accommodate pets.
Shared space: The washing machine/dryer (on the lower level) will be shared space.
Price: Rent is $900 plus 1/3 utilities including cable and internet. Security Deposit will be $900.
