CF Seeking a Roommate in search of a Place in DC

I started a new job recently and am looking for a roommate to help me in my search for a place. Ideally I am looking for a 2 bd 1 ba in DC in either Capitol Hill, Brookland, Rhode Island Ave, H street, Bloomingdale, Union Station or Noma close to a red metro line if not close to my job for a year long lease.

About myself:
- Early 30s
- Friendly, considerate, courteous outgoing, a bit goofy at times
- Work for a news organization in downtown DC by Capitol Hill
- Usually a pretty busy person, gone for 12-13 hours a day, but...
- I love having people over and am open to making new friends, and desire to foster a sense of Christian community
- And I like to have my own space too!
- Clean, but definitely not a neat freak
- Enjoy exercising (I have a bike)
- Love pets but prefer not to have them
- Creative person/artist: likes to cook, sing, and dance

Ideally you are:
- Strong Christian female
- 20s/30s
- Pretty laidback, not too high maintenance
- You are considerate, friendly, courteous likewise
- Working professional
- Neat
- Enjoy getting out and having people over. Not all the time but most of it.

Sounds like you? Email me at
I would love to find a place ASAP by May 1 but may end up waiting until June. If you can help me find a place by May 1, I will find a way to compensate (free utilities, 1/2 off rent, or whatever).
