CF Needed for Semi-Private Room in Capitol Hill East Rowhouse, May 11th, $675+ Utilities
My housemates and I were just approved for an amazing house and are looking for a fourth Christian female roommate to sign a lease for a semi-private room in a row house beginning May 11th. The room is the spacious living room of a finished basement. The room is not shared but has an open layout. You could easily put up a divider/large curtain for privacy. The washer/dryer is in the room but your housemates will be respectful of your schedule and doing laundry during the day. You would share a bedroom with one other roommate whose room is also in the basement. The rent is $675 a month + 1/4 of the utilities (electric, gas, water/sewer, internet). A $675 security deposit will be due at lease signing. The lease is good for two years but the property manager allows roommate changes if you need to move before the lease ends.
The House:
The house is a three story row house located in the Capitol Hill East neighborhood. It has central air conditioning and an in-unit washer and dryer. The first floor has a great living room and an amazing/large kitchen with stainless steel appliances. It has a cute front porch and a huge backyard that is perfect for cookouts in the summer and bonfires in the fall.
The Area:
The house is on 16th Street SE and is a half a mile from the Potomac Ave and Stadium Armory metro stations (orange/silver/blue). The Pretzel Bakery is a block away and you can walk to Harris Teeter in 13 minutes.
The Roommates:
The roommates are three Christian women ranging from early - late twenties. We are very active in our respective churches and friend groups but enjoy catching up at the end of the day or while watching This is Us. We love to host so it is very important to us to create a hospitable environment for others. We unfortunately are not allowed to have pets.
