A space is available in a gorgeous H Street row home!
The house is on 9th & H Street NE in the hip H Street Corridor neighborhood, a 15-20 minute walk to Union Station or NoMa metro stops, and the DC Streetcar and multiple bus lines have stops very close by. A new Whole Foods store and many restaurants are within a couple blocks from the house.
The roommates: You will be living with four women in their mid- to late- twenties.
The space available is a shared basement for $730 per month + utilities. The space includes a gorgeous cedar walk-in closet and and separate section for extra storage space. There's a shared bathroom with one girl and a laundry room downstairs as well. The main floor has a living room, dining room, and large kitchen. There are 3 ½ bathrooms total in the house.
You will sign a 9 to 10 month sublease that goes through August 31, 2018 (with an option to renew after that). The opening is available immediately, but the move-in date is flexible. The ideal start date is between now and December 1. There is a security deposit of $830.
The house itself has beautiful hardwood floors and a cozy antique vibe. The backyard has a fire pit. The home-owner has recently done many small renovations, including re-doing all the plumbing, painting the main floor, and getting a security camera for the house.
Extras: There is off-street parking available in the backyard. There are double ovens in the kitchen and a grill on the back deck. The common space is very large. Although there are five living in the house, it never feels crowded!
