Ballston - 1 room available in 4-BR All-Female House
One room available in 4-bedroom all-female house in a quiet Ballston neighborhood. Bathroom shared with one other female.
We are looking for a considerate, communicative and clean female roommate. Available for Oct. 1 (or sooner) move-in and start of new one-year lease. Landlord is flexible if you have to move out anytime before the lease ends (he sends an addendum for the new tenant to sign and take over for who ever is moving out). Sorry, no pets.
Rent is $975/mo per person. Utilities are $100-$150/person (electricity, wifi, Verizon Fios with DVR, water). We have our own washing machine and dryer in the basement. We have one private parking spot we rotate every week. Plenty of Zone 8 street parking available (only $35 for the year when registered with Arlington County). Nearby garage also available for $125/mo. Security deposit is $400.
We are a 7-minute walk away from the Ballston metro, many bus lines, and very close to I-66. Giant is about a 10 min walk away, and if you have a car there is also Safeway, Trader Joe's, and Harris Teeter. We also have a barbecue in the back patio with a table and chairs for summer cookouts and a fireplace.
About us: we are three professional females ranging from early-20s to early-30s. We also attend NCC Ballston. We are social and extroverted, but respect space and boundaries. We welcome guests and significant others who want to visit (but not live in) the house.
