Marketing Specialist

The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) seeks a passionate, hardworking, data-driven marketing specialist to provide expertise on a team that recruits students to its BestSemester off-campus study programs.

The Council is a professional association of 182 campuses in 20 nations whose mission is to advance the cause of Christ-centered higher education and to help our member institutions transform lives by faithfully relating scholarship and service to biblical truth. The Council coordinates professional development opportunities for administrators and faculty, manages U.S. based and international off-campus student programs, provides public advocacy for Christ-centered higher education and manages cooperative efforts among its member campuses (www.cccu.org).

Core Responsibilities:
The BestSemester Marketing Specialist will be a marketing professional with training and hands-on experience in data-driven marketing who can apply those skills to the competitive world of study abroad recruitment. Specifically, this person will:

 Oversee the planning and implementation of strategic campus visits, using data to guide the planning process. This includes attending or assigning another staff member to attend study abroad fairs, information nights, promotional events, etc.
 Create a Social Media plan for BestSemester using expertise and in-app insights to guide what is posted and when.
 Manage BestSemester web content ensuring a cohesive message and look.
 Develop new email marketing content and drip campaigns to grow the top of the funnel.
 Serve as the admissions counselor for general inquiries and assign inquiries to admissions coordinators based on program interest. This includes calling, emailing, and texting student inquiries on a daily basis.
 Assist in developing BestSemester newsletters to inform and build relationships with administrators and faculty ensuring timely execution and delivery.
 Serve as the primary person responsible for identifying new marketing initiatives, photo contests, events, and campaigns with the goal of generating new leads.
 Oversee the implementation of new admissions software and marketing automation systems.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Persons applying for the position should:

 Affirm the Nicene Creed and support the Christian mission and purpose of the CCCU and its BestSemester programs
 Have an education and/or background in marketing exhibiting an understanding of the marketing mix with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field; Master’s degree preferred
 Be strategic, creative, organized, energetic, and possess advanced verbal and written communication skills
 Have experience with marketing for enrollment for third party provider study abroad programs preferred
